Hi! Thank you for visiting my Top Realty page.

Here's a little bit about me, if you like reading up on my background. (The typical start of any good real estate person or movie intro.)

From a young age I enjoyed Real Estate. My father started off in the industry as an architect and then transitioned to a developer. I had fond memories watching my dad and the construction workers discuss plans/layouts and jokingly spew occasional profanities at each other. It made me understand what goes into a good build, property pricing, and playful work environments.

Like many college kids I had no idea what I wanted to do outside of college. I postponed going into the work force after receiving my undergrad in Economics. Advertising/Marketing was always something that interested me. Then I decided to get my Masters of Science in Advertising at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. How do you reach a certain audience? You could be creative and silly in a proper way to affect a consumer at home. It seemed like a fun way to understand and interact with people.

After Graduate school, starting salary in the advertising industry at the time was $23,000. However, with some money saved and my dad's expertise in real estate, I made a couple investments. Those investments in a short period of time yielded more than a first year advertising/marketing salary. Needless to say, I was too curious to go straight into advertising without more exploration into real estate investments.

A couple more investments and all my money was tied up in assets. Therefore I was relatively poor and living with my parents. That's when I had a friend who encouraged me to do something that would keep my eyes looking for real estate investment 24/7. She told me to become a real estate broker. I could help friends and clients look for good investments and keep a quick eye for inventory.

This idea set up the basis for my passion in real estate. Helping people find supplemental income to add assets and further their financial future. Didn't hurt that I also was able to find strong investments for myself as I helped them with their search.

Now 13 years later, I am still excited to wake up every morning and do what I do. I get to assist my family, friends/clients, and their friends in finding/selling their home. Or making smart choices in investment properties that can help secure their future.

Anytime I'm out with a client my number one priority is the client. My philosophy is that if I put everything into taking care of my client, I never have to worry because happy clients will always take care of me. That philosophy ended up being the simplest yet most rewarding motto to guide my career.
